Spinach Crab Dip

12 oz soft spread cream cheese
4.25 oz can crab meat, drained
8 oz shredded Italian cheese
1 cup frozen spinach
1 teaspoon seasoned salt

Put spinach in a bowl, heat in microwave for about 20 seconds. Put in strainer and press out liquid with a spoon.

Reserve about 1/3 cup cheese. Combine all remaining ingredients in a bowl. Season to taste with seasoned salt, about a teaspoon or so. You could also add minced dried onion or other seasoning if you wish. Put into shallow ovenproof baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Preheat oven to 375. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through and top cheese is golden.

Serve warm with slices of French bread or crackers.

This is what I served for an appetizer Christmas Day, and it was a big hit! And sooooo easy!

Girl, you ALWAYS post the most delicious looking photos. I thank you for the recipe to this one-it's gotta be perfect for New Year's Eve. I just want to have sandwiches, chips and dips, so this would be perfect. I am so going to make it. Thanks for the inspiration! Wishing you a very Happy New Year Karen!

P.S. As I was rereading the recipe, I wondered what size baking dish you used? This only makes a small amount right?

YayaOrchid, I think it was a square quart and a half Corningware dish. Probably about 7 x 7 inches. Have a wonderful New Year!!!
